“"Assassins' Spaghetti" is a typical Italian recipe from Bari, Puglia. Cooked in an odd way (no boiling necessary) it has strong flavours and a stronger character.”
Start by making the tomato broth. In the water mix the tomato paste well and bring it to a simmer on medium heat. Once it gets there, take it off the heat and your broth is ready
Step 2
In a pan (stainless steel or iron, not nonstick) add the olive oil, one chopped and one whole garlic clove, the chili flakes and the tomato sauce (all on medium heat). After a couple of minutes add the spaghetti directly into the pan and let them stick to the bottom to form a crust
Step 3
Turn the spaghetti around and slowly start adding the broth, cooking on medium-low for about 15 minutes (depending on the pasta) and there you go! Buon appetito
