Take a culinary journey to Mexico with these pumpkin spice churros! Guaranteed party favourite or perfect for a film night!


Serves 10


Step 1
Place your saucepan on a medium heat and add and melt your butter. Then, add your water, vanilla extract, sugar and salt
Step 2
Open your tin of pumpkin puree and add to the mixture along with your flour, mixing well. Remove from the heat, and once cooled a little, remove from the heat and add your eggs
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a jagged nozzle
Step 4
Pipe the mixture to your perfect churros length into a pan of your oil heated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Fry for 4 minutes, flipping after 2 minutes
Step 5
In a bowl mix your sugar, cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Then lay flat in a tray and coat your churros in the mixture
