Homemade Naans

Ingredients (8)

Serves 4

280g plain flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 packet of yeast (7g)

1 tsp salt

180ml warm water

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp yoghurt

2 tbsp melted butter


Step 1

Mix together the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wet ingredients in another

Step 2

Combine the wet and the dry ingredients, then mix and knead into a smooth ball

Step 3

Place in a well oiled bowl, cover with clingfilm and leave to rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size

Step 4

Uncover, then knock back, and knead gently. Divide into 4 balls

Step 5

Roll out the balls, then cook in a lightly oiled frying pan on a high heat. Once one side is brown, flip, and brush with the melted butter, scattering with chopped parsley, then remove and enjoy!
