Crispy Buffalo Hot Wings

Ingredients (12)

1kg chicken wings

75g blue cheese

100ml hot sauce

2tbsp sour cream

1tbsp garlic granules

1tbsp mayonnaise

30g butter

2tbsp lemon juice

1tbsp brown sugar

1tbsp baking powder

1tsp salt

1/2tsp pepper

Method

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 210ºC, then, in a bowl, mix together baking powder, garlic, salt and pepper. Separate the wings, place on a paper towel and pat dry, then pour the baking powder mixture over the wings and mix


Step 2

Place a wire rack on top of a baking try, place the wings on top and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, make the blue cheese sauce by mixing the sour cream, mayonnaise and lemon juice and crumble in the blue cheese


Step 3

Take the wings out of the oven to flip them and the return to the oven for another 30 minutes. To make the buffalo sauce, melt butter in a pan at a low heat and add brown sugar. Once melted, add the hot sauce and mix through. Finally, remove the wings from the oven and coat with hot sauce, serve with blue cheese dip on the side
