Description

This French toast doused with cream, we’re talking breakfast sticky toffee pudding vibes

Ingredients

Method

Step 1
Chop the walnuts
Step 2
Stretch out the bread dough and sprinkle over walnuts and coffee grounds
Step 3
Fold up the sides of the dough and roll into a log before leaving it to rise for an hour in a warm place, covered with a tea towel
Step 4
Score and bake the bread, time and temperature depending on the type of bread you’re making
Step 5
Slice the bread
Step 6
Add the eggs, sugar and milk to a bowl and mix before dipping the bread in to soak
Step 7
Heat a pan, add butter and leave it to melt and brown slightly
Step 8
Add the bread to the pan and fry on both sides
Step 9
Plate up and top with optional caramel sauce and cream (or your choice of toppings!)
